Services performed by WPS for our clients projects shall be in accordance with the following procurement policies:

• Obtain goods and services on a fair and competitive basis, considering total cost, product quality, safety, service and delivery.
• Carry out all purchasing activities in an ethical manner that complies not only with the letter but also the spirit and intent of pertinent laws and regulations of the applicable authorities.
• Ensure that qualified suppliers have equal opportunity to bid on project requirements.
• Treat all supplier's bids, price and product information as confidential. When requested, give reasons to the unsuccessful bidder for failure (i.e. high price, long delivery, not to specifications, etc.), without discussion of the other proposals.
• Recognize all terms of purchase and trade and recommend payment in accordance therewith.
• Encourage materials and equipment standardization.
• Employ competitive bidding to achieve that best value and delivery combination for the benefit of the project.
• Advise other project personnel on commercial matters when required. WPS is the contact for  bidders and vendors regarding conditions of purchase, terms of payment, delivery promises, and other commercial matters.
• All contacts with bidders and vendors by member of the project will be limited to discussions of a technical nature, and coordinated through the Procurement Manager.
